TEENS: 16 Year Old Program - Early Bird Road

Step 1: To obtain a 16-year-old Special Learner's permit you must enroll in a driving school, pass a written test and an eye exam, and complete six (6) hours of behind-the-wheel instruction.

Step 2: Probationary (with restrictions) license, at age 17 after completing minimum of 6 months supervised driving with validated permit.

Step 3: Full basic (no restrictions) license, at age 18 after having probationary license for one year.

16 Year Old Basic Silver Program (Six Hours Behind-the-Wheel)

- Meets the minimum State requirements to obtain permit

· Written Exam (if not passed in school)

· Six Hours Behind-the- Wheel

16 Year Old Gold Program (Ten Hours Behind-the-Wheel

Basic Program plus (2) additional two hour lessons customized to your teen driver’s needs. Total of (10) hours.

Cost: $805.00

16 Year Old Platinum Program (Twelve Hours Behind-the-Wheel)

Basic Program plus (3) additional two hour lessons customized to your teen driver’s needs allowing additional practice time for highway and traffic driving situations. Total of (12) hours. This can include nighttime driving.

Cost: $935.00
