1. How long should our family plan on spending at Fort Jefferson?

The amount of time it takes really depends on the family. Generally, most families allow a minimum of four hours and many will spend the entire day.

2. Is there plenty of parking?

We have all kinds of parking including room for rv’s. Parking is free.

3. Can we bring our own food?

YES. You are more than welcome to bring a picnic and use one of the tables inside the park.

4. Do you have lockers?

YES, lockers are located by the Waterslides.

5. Do you allow pets inside the park?

Sorry, for safety reasons we do not. Currently, we do not have pet kennels.

6. What happens if it rains?

We want to make sure that you have a good time on your visit. For safety reasons, some rides will close during lightning. We will reopen them as soon as the storm passes by. If rain continues for over a 1/2 hour we will gladly give you a pass for a return visit during the same season. Passes are not transferable. There are no refunds.

7. Must I have a swimsuit to ride the waterslides?

Yes you must have a swimsuit without rivets or buckles to ride.

8. How far are you from North Conway and Lincoln?

We are just about 50 minutes north of North Conway & 30 minutes north of Lincoln. Either route will take you through some of the most beautiful scenery in northern New Hampshire.

9. Do you have group rates?

Yes, group rates for established groups of 20 or more paying guest are available upon request. Just e-mail or call to reserve a date.

10. Can we have a company picnic at Fort Jefferson?

Well, sure! We've added a new picnic facility.
